Calling all mamas who are looking for practical ways to live a healthy lifestyle!
Do you ever wonder how you could possibly take on one more task in your already busy world? Take it from this mama, I wondered the same thing. I am here to tell you, there are simple and effective ways to achieve a healthy lifestyle, strengthen the mind and body, all while taking care of your little blessings!
Hi! My name is Leeandra. Creator of Tiny Steps & Reps. I am a girl after Jesus’ own heart. I find solace in being in the mountains. I am a wife and a mama of two wonderful little boys. I hope to inspire moms to take on motherhood with confidence, strength and resilience.
At a young age I developed a passion for dance and enrolled in a Performing Arts School. It was through dance, that I discovered my love for physical activity. Fast forward a few years, I was determined to start living a healthier lifestyle. I started to research everything I could get my hands on. When I met my husband, he convinced me to start strength training with him. That is when I fell in love with him (and the weights!)
When I became a mom, I had no idea how much it would change me. Ever since I was little, I had a dream of being a stay at home mom. I knew I was answering a higher calling when I decided to leave my job and stay at home to raise our first boy. Here I was holding this sweet baby boy and living my dream. Everything was new territory. From the sleepless nights, to nursing, to diaper rash, to solids, I was figuring it all out as I went. I put a ton of thought (and research) into making the right choices for our family. Once our second boy arrived, my focus grew stronger by the day. My boys became my motivation for creating a healthy environment for them to grow and thrive. I started to research all of the chemical laden products we used day in and day out and I knew I had to make changes. I also found myself feeling overwhelmed. Over the course of two years, I made small changes one by one. After my first pregnancy, I found myself having a hard time balancing my new role as a mom and finding time to strength train and take care of my body. Once my second son was born, I knew I needed to find a way. I started on my own journey of making it happen. Soon, friends and family were coming to me for advice. I loved sharing my knowledge and tidbits on motherhood, fitness and healthy living. Through these experiences of counseling other moms, Tiny Steps & Reps was born! I want to equip moms with the tools to help them thrive in their roles as moms and to make the journey to a healthy lifestyle less intimidating and overwhelming. I want to help moms like you!
My Hope For You:
Here in my little corner of the internet, you will find a blend of everything mom, fitness, natural living and motivation. I hope you feel inspired and encouraged. Motherhood is the greatest job in the world, but it can also be the hardest. There are days we feel like we aren’t cut out for this. We lose our patience and mom guilt gets the best of us. But by God’s grace, we get up each day and try again. We as moms need encouragement and practical ways to make things happen.
Oh how I wish I could sit down with you over a cup of coffee and chat. I would love to hear your story and what your goals and dreams are. For now anyway, an email is the next best thing.
Send me an email and introduce yourself, share with me a dream or goal you have and how I can help you!
I can’t wait to hear from you!
Remember this, You were made for great things mama!
